Weiying Zhao, Machine Learning Scientist
I am a Machine Learning Researcher at Deep Planet.
I mainly develop machine learning algorithms to extract useful information from remote sensing images. I’m good at multitemporal Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images denoising, spatial-temporal SAR image change analysis (change area, start change, stop change, maximum change and time-series change types), time series multisensor fusion and InSAR.
I completed my postdoctoral work at University College London, where I did multisensor missing value imputation and vegetation monitoring with radiative transfer model. I got a PhD in signal and image processing at Télécom ParisTech (LTCI/IMAGES). The work I did during my PhD related to applying machine learning methods to SAR data and heterogeneous data (SAR/optical) processing.
